PINELLAS COUNTY — Pinellas Community Foundation, in collaboration with Pinellas County government, is leading the county’s nonprofit granting efforts to support capital needs in response to and in recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
This granting effort utilizes funds provided by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). There are two grantmaking tracks open in this grant: Small Capital Purchases and Large Capital Projects. There is $17.9 million available for distribution.
Full eligibility criteria and timeline information can be seen by clicking the “Learn More” button below. If your organization fits the eligibility criteria, you may submit a request for both Small Capital Purchases and Large Capital Projects.
Small Capital Purchases are capital assets with a useful life of at least five years. Your organization may request up to $199,999 in Small Capital Purchases.
Larger Capital Projects are the acquisition or modification of real property, and your organization may request up to $5 million for a Large Project.
The Small Capital Purchase application and the Large Capital Project Letter of Intent are both due on Thursday, Sept. 8, by 11:59 p.m.
A second round of Small Capital Purchases will be made available in early 2023 for organizations with operating budgets under $500,000.
