Pastor’s Corner: Where are you going?

It does not matter where you have been and what you have done; what matters is where you are going and the path that you take to get there. Solving this puzzle is easier said than done. Today, so many people wrestle with questions such as “What is my purpose?” or “What is my destiny?” I ask you dear reader, “Do you know for sure that you are on the right path and that your actions are leading you to a divinely inspired destiny?”

If your answer is no or you are unsure, do not fret; I have got good news for you. The answer these questions are found in knowing God. He is the beginning and the end of all things. And as it relates to your destiny God declares to you from His word, “I know the plans I have for you…plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11). The bottom line is the plan for your life can be found in the hand of God. I challenge you to go get it.

How do you retrieve it? I am glad you asked. God says to you “…call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:12). Give your life totally to Him, commit to a life of prayer and bible study, find a health well balanced church, and purpose to live a life that is pleasing to God. The Bible makes it clear; God has a purpose and destiny for everyone.  To find His purpose and plan for your life, you must get to know God. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need (Matthew 6:33, New Living Translation). AMEN!
