‘Trust Jesus’

Praise the Lord saints.

I decided that I would hold off on Battle Scars and delayed speaking to the current issues we are facing at this time to let everything come out before I speak on it.

I won’t add to the “conspiracy theories” that are already flooding the airwaves via Facebook, television news, etc. What I will say is this: you need to make sure that you have given multiple resources a chance to prove themselves either all true or completely false.

You have to know that we serve an all-loving, faithful, caring, just God that won’t lead us into the wilderness just to perish.

However, if you allow yourself to be tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine, you are destined to fall in every “rabbit hole” designed to snare you.

You either trust God, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, or you don’t. Where there is F.E.A.R. (False Evidence Appearing Real), there can be NO Faith.

I told you that the church has been under attack for years and the church is the one place where you can get the victory, provided you are under a righteous shepherd who has been not only called but chosen of God to be in the position that they are currently occupying.

There is no grey area when it comes to the things of God but some would have you to believe that there are some things God forgot to mention or He left them to be ambiguous in nature or for us to figure out on our own and come up with our own “truth.”

Saints, once truth has been established, there is only one thing to decide, either follow it or don’t but you can’t change truth. Truth stands alone and God’s Truth will never change itself just to fit the desire of the people it’s intended for.

Either comply or face whatever consequences that follow disobeying but God will NEVER change His Word to suit what we want.  The Word of God is here for us to change, alter, or conform our lives according to what is written, has been written for thousands of years prior to our existence, and we have proof of what happens when we do and when we don’t.

One question that came to mind was this, if folks with weakened immune systems are the highest at risk, which, in some cases means you are not getting proper nutrition, then why aren’t the homeless, who should be at the top of the list, being attacked the most? Just a thought.

Most of us that have the means can go out and buy whatever to strengthen our bodies internally, but the homeless can’t and they seem to be not affected by this virus.

Some say it goes after black male genitals, is a hybrid mutated virus where for the first time ever two viruses combined themselves together to form a mega super virus, a flu like virus with four different strands of the HIV virus, etc., etc.

Here’s another one, we are the strongest, most powerful country in the world and we have approximately 340 million folks here and we have almost a million and a half “confirmed” cases, more than the entire world combined.  Even China, the “originating” country where it came from has over 1.4 billion people yet they were able to shut it down at a little over 84,000.

Some said it was God punishing a disobedient world, some say it’s the one percent trying to employ population control to institute mandatory vaccinations which contain poison that alters your DNA which would lead to chipping everyone through fear and deception.

How about this, TRUST JESUS, get saved the Bible way, by repenting, and being baptized in Jesus name, then tarrying to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, or Ghost, then if you haven’t already, continue as they did following the apostle’s (apostolic, holiness) doctrine and getting on one accord and be of one mind, one Spirit.

ACTS 2:36-47 AMPLIFIED BIBLE (AMP)

36 Therefore let all the house of Israel recognize beyond all doubt that God has made Him both Lord and Christ (Messiah, Anointed)—this Jesus whom you crucified.”

37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart [with remorse and anxiety], and they said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what are we to do?” 38 And Peter said to them, “Repent [change your old way of thinking, turn from your sinful ways, accept and follow Jesus as the Messiah] and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ because of the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise [of the Holy Spirit] is for you and your children and for all who are far away [including the Gentiles], as many as the Lord our God calls to Himself.” 40 And Peter solemnly testified and continued to admonish and urge them with many more words, saying, “[a]Be saved from this crooked and unjust generation!” 41 So then, those who accepted his message were baptized; and on that day about [b]3,000 souls were added [to the body of believers]. 42 They were continually and faithfully devoting themselves to the instruction of the apostles, and to fellowship, to [c]eating meals together and to prayers.

43 A sense of awe was felt by [d]everyone, and many wonders and signs (attesting miracles) were taking place through the apostles. 44 And all those who had believed [in Jesus as Savior] [e]were together and had all things in common [considering their possessions to belong to the group as a whole]. 45 And they began selling their property and possessions and were sharing the proceeds with all [the other believers], as anyone had need. 46 Day after day they met in the temple [area] continuing with one mind, and breaking bread in various private homes. They were eating their meals together with joy and generous hearts, 47 praising God continually, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord kept adding to their number daily those who were being saved.

Till next week,

Blessings,

Bishop Dr. Robert L. Harrison, PhD
