Dear Reader: Trouble Doesn’t Have to be Absent for Triumph to Prevail

Dear Reader,

I’m not sure how my words will find you when you read them, but I pray that they find you well and bring you hope and perspective.

In the acknowledgement of brokenness, we find the pieces to be made whole; for it is in the restorative power of God that one can find restoration for the broken places of life, and it is in Him that we find the mender of broken hearts.

Trouble doesn’t have to be absent for triumph to be present, nor does fear, Beloved, have to be absent before you courageously move forward. We simply must go farther and, as we do, have faith in God concerning our journey, because uncertainty may be your next step, but you will never know the beauty and treasure that awaits you if you don’t take it.

So, be at peace, Dear Reader, as your journey continues because the portrait may not be completed at the moment, but that doesn’t mean that God is not still painting and preparing a masterpiece.

God’s timing is always perfect timing, so keep this thought in mind as the current of time pulls us forward.

As we look to the hills from which cometh our help, we realize and know that all of our help comes from You, Lord. For it is You Who made Heaven and earth, and it is also You Who our help comes from.

I pray that as you look from the valleys to the mountaintops, you will find the courage to keep going, and I pray that you will know triumph beyond your trouble.

Dear Reader, continue to trust God even in the most difficult places because He will see to it that you make it to the destination of His promises. I want you to know that you are not alone, and it is my prayer that this column will make you feel as though you have a place to belong and somewhere to call home.
