ST. PETERSBURG — Saving money for college may seem scary, but St. Petersburg College (SPC) can help you start with some spooky savings! SPC’s Halloween Spooktacular is an exciting, weeklong event where anyone who attends can enjoy holiday festivities and get their $40 college application fee waived.
Halloween Spooktacular — from Oct. 24-30 — combines academic opportunities with holiday entertainment, offering fun for the whole family. New or returning on-campus and online students can get into the Halloween spirit and prepare for the upcoming Spring Term. Guests can trick-or-treat around different campus locations.
The event offers a range of activities at the various campuses including a Campus Candy Crawl, a screening of the family-favorite movie Hocus Pocus, and even a chance to win a limited-edition, Halloween-themed SPC hat. Future and current Titans can also apply to SPC for FREE and register for spring classes.
Online event
On Oct. 24, a free webinar, Avoid Evil Debt: Free Money for College, will be offered from 6-6:30 p.m.
Experts at SPC can ease students’ fears about paying for college with information about scholarships, grants, tuition assistance, and more. Students can register for the webinar to start their journey with SPC.
In-person events
SPC’s on-campus events from Oct. 25-30 will occur from 4-8 p.m. at a different campus each day. Check the SPC Halloween Spooktacular webpage at spc.edu/Halloween for details. Events include:
- $40 application fee waiver

- Spring registration for classes
