Dear Reader: Courageously Be You Because, After All, There Will Never Ever Be Another You

Dear Reader,

I’m not sure how my words will find you when you read them, but I pray that they find you well and bring you hope and perspective.

I also pray that you will continue to allow your light to shine, no matter how much darkness tries to prevail because, you see, Dear Reader, you are someone different; in fact, you are someone unique. You are a special kind of person who should never allow yourself to fit into the confounds of someone else’s comfort zone.

Dear Reader, when God shaped you, He formed you in His image, and this makes you more than enough. So, let your light shine, and don’t be consumed by the darkness. It’s truly okay to just be you, so courageously do so, and walk in the beauty of who you are. Because, after all, Dear Reader, there will never ever be another you.

Dear Reader, trust God even in the most difficult places, because He will see to it that you make it to the destination of His promises. I want you to know that you are not alone, and it is my prayer that this column will make you feel as though you have a place to belong and somewhere to call home.
