Dear Reader,
I’m not sure how my words will find you when you read them, but I pray that they find you well and bring you hope and perspective.
Dear Reader, God has systematically positioned you in this season for growth, so do not fear the change in environment, relationships, places, and things. Just spread your roots and grow.
There is power in a root system. The work and the make-up of it is usually unseen because it is covered in soil, but the power of the system in conjunction with the condition of the soil will always produce the right conditions for growth.
I saw and heard the beauty of these inspirational words a few weeks ago as I visualized the makeup of this philodendron root system that my wife propagated in this mason jar. There have been many pieces that have been born from the original philodendron, and it continues to propagate, spread its roots, and give life to many more.
Beloved, you are still growing and evolving, even when it seems that you are unseen. You have been systematically placed to grow.
Dear Reader, continue to trust God even in the most difficult places, because He will see to it that you make it to the destination of His promises. I want you to know that you are not alone, and it is my prayer that this column will make you feel as though you have a place to belong and somewhere to call home.
